Welcome to our trip blog for the Borderlands Agora, 2018.

Our trip leaves in 6 days. Here is an overview of our itinerary:

• Monday: travel to Phoenix, drive to Nogales
• Tuesday: learning about Sanctuary Movement + observing Operation Streamline in Tucson
• Wednesday: learning about migration through the desert in Green Valley, visiting border patrol in Nogales, and learning about humanitarian aid in Nogales
• Thursday: crossing to Mexico to partner with a faith-based humanitarian aid group
• Friday: hiking in Patagonia, visiting a Catholic school in Nogales and spending time with students from both sides of the border; drive to Phoenix for fun time at the baseball game
• Saturday: hiking in Phoenix, travel home

Mr. M from Nogales again - had a great morning w/Shura from Green Valley Samaritans. She showed me some desert trails and we saw left-behind items on the way. Praying for these migrant people. #BensBorderlands

Mr. M here in Nogales - visited the Mexican side on Friday to see the comedor ministry. Excited for our students to spend time with these amazing people. #BensBorderlands
